Job Description
Job purpose:
As a team member of Credit Risk Management to assist over all credit management operation including carrying out implementing administrative work relates to collateral management, non-performing loan management and credit issuance & drawdown operation as well as credit reporting etc. Work closely with the business department (Banking, Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking etc. and respective support department (Legal, Finance and Internal Audit etc.)
Responsibilities would be, but not be limited to, the following:
1. Assistant of Collateral Management
n Conduct verification on the nature, state and value of collaterals based on the works of business imitation departments.
n Maintenance and system operation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of collateral information is recorded and updated.
n Credit risk mitigation tools management and assistant of collateral valuation analysis.
2. Assistant of Credit Drawdown Process
n Assist on drawdown application under the credit contract and, according to the conditions of credit approval, deciding whether to agree drawdown business.
3. Non-performing loan management
n Update, summary and report the overdue non-performing loan to management.
n Support the team to prepare analysis report, collection procedure or legal action to enforce payment.
n Assist prepare the credit recommendation for charge of action on obligors.
4. Others
n Assistant of risk data monitoring, collection, and statistics.
n Assistant of risk data preparation for regular reporting.
n Assistant of credit quality monitoring, including classification (both European regulatory credit quality classification and HO-CBRC), periodic credit assets/portfolio inventory.
5. Administrative assistant of operational risk and internal control management
n Assist on implementation of management tool KRI, LDC and RACA of operational risk.
n System monitoring and verification of alert.
n Assist on investigation, verification and recording of operational incidents.
6. Administrative assistant of credit risk management
Qualifications
Profile (Technical Skills):
· University degree or above in Investment, Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business-Related subjects
· Excellent in English and other languages will be an advantage.
· At least 1 year’s work experience
· Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
· CFA/FRM would be considered as a strong asset for this role
· Excellent at Microsoft Excel for risk data aggregation, especially skilled application EXCEL Functions.
· Knowledge in SQL or other application or software for data & information mining using IT systems would be a strong asset
