Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant including roster, training, daily administration etc.
  • Motivate and monitor the team to provide excellent service to our customers and to achieve company’s sales targets
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and development to all front-of-house team members 
  • Ensure that all dining staff are informed of the restaurant’s policies, procedures and are knowledgeable about daily specials and menu items
  • Control usage of all operating equipment to ensure sufficiency and reports inventory, breakage or missing items and maintain in a good record
  • Consistently monitor food & beverage and labour costs to remain within budgets and maximize the revenue
  • Provide superior customer services, handle customer’s enquiries, feedback and complaint handling
  • Manage the restaurant to exceed standards in food quality, safety, cleanliness and guest experience
  • Provide periodical analysis and status reports for management review
  • Consistently and continuously review operations and team performance to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
  • Cooperate and work closely with media in order to maintain good relationship

 

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge in F&B operation, cost control and promotion management
  • Passion, determination and commitment for success in F&B industry
  • Strong business sense and operational, administrative and social skills
  • At least 4-5 years working experience in Food and Beverage industry, and at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role in Chinese / Fine dining restaurants with proven management skills and leadership
  • Presentable, customer service-oriented, pleasant personality and good communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, management skills and problem solving skills
  • Self-organized and detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility
  • Fluent in spoken & written English and Cantonese
  • Strong experience in training team members in operational roles, inclusive of serving, hosting, bartending, etc.
  • Proficient in POS and computer knowledge
