F&B is a key contributor to the success of our hotel, striving to deliver quality with our fabulous dishes and beverages. An extensive and busy breakfast operation combined with modern a la carte dining for dinner utilizing fresh New Zealand cuisine. Together with small conferences we provide a stunning backdrop to a variety of special events.

A F&B professional who strives for quality with strong focus on guest satisfaction and is passionate about food, service and presentation.

2-3 years' experience in F&B managing a restaurant 



Work Experience

Share the responsibilities of staff development and engagement of the team:

·        Able to manage and lead a team creating a positive work environment

·        Proven leadership skills in a large volume environment

·        Ability to plan and have a strategic vision for the Department

·        Maintain excellent presentation standards over the F&B outlets

·        Hands on shifts ensuring quality and service standards are delivered to all guests

·        Strong administration and communication skills both written and verbal

·        Develop and train the team of up to 18 staff in all areas of F&B service and products

·        General Managers Certificate

·        Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and all internal departments

·        Ideal candidate will have high energy and passion for F&B

·        Budgeting, roster and forecasting experience

·        Strong values to assist in fostering a great team / family environment 

·        Focus on H&S standard’s and Environmental commitments

·        Calm and collected under pressure

·        Able to delegate duties and responsibilities

·        Sound decision maker under pressure

·        Ability to roll out projects and reporting on time

·        High energy levels and outgoing manner

·        Excellent personal presentation

·        Reliable and committed to role long term

·        Salaried position within the hotel management team
