Job Description

The appointee will assist the Head of Communications and Public Relations Office (CPRO) in a wide spectrum of resources development including but not limited to the following: 

  1. Formulate and implement effective strategies to tap funds from the market for the sustainable development of the College’s services.
  2. Draft proposals for grant applications to charitable foundations and commercial corporations and identify possible channels for applications.
  3. Devise innovative programs and corporate partnership to raise funds and solicit support from the public and potential donors.
  4. Identify potential donors and build long-term relations with current donors, potential donors & supporters; and enhance corporate collaboration for resources enhancement.
  5. Develop alumni relations and strengthen the ties with alumni via various caused-related initiatives in collaboration with the PR Team.
  6. Develop related marketing strategies and promotional channels to draw the public and potential donors’ awareness towards the College’s appeals.
  7. Produce various marketing materials such as brochures, leaflets and program booklets and souvenirs etc.
  8. Manage eDM and develop digital platforms to enhance donation appeals and channels.
  9. Develop donation information system for donations and execute financial & administrative work.
  10. Perform any other duties to achieve the Unit’s objectives as assigned by Head of CPRO.

Requirements

Applicants should:

  1. Possess a recognized Master Degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Communications or a related discipline;
  2. Have at least 6 years’ relevant working experience in fund-raising;
  3. Fund-raising experience is a must;
  4. Have excellent organizational, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills;
  5. Be mature, innovative, energetic, self-motivated and capable of mastering various tasks independently under pressure and tight deadlines;
  6. Be a target-oriented and service-oriented team player;
  7. Have excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, and fluency in Putonghua; and
  8. Be proficient in computer applications.

Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
