The Center for Investing under the Department of Finance promotes Hong Kong's role as preeminent regional investment hub. It conducts a diverse array of scientific and policy researches on investment management focusing on Hong Kong and Mainland China. The Center is now looking for a Research Associate/Research Assistant to assist in research projects in the Center. The appointee will extend existing research results to reach a broader readership, liaising with external parties for data collection and analysis, and providing editorial support for publications.

For the position of Research Associate, applicants should have a doctor degree in business-related disciplines, with preferably at least five years' post-qualification experience in related field. For the position of Research Assistant, applicants should be a bachelor’s degree holder in business-related disciplines. Candidates should be self-motivated, well-organized and able to work independently. Rich computer knowledge, strong technical background and good interpersonal skills are preferred. They should also possess excellent communication skills with a strong command of written and spoken English. Fluency in Cantonese or Putonghua is a plus. (Duration: 6 – 12 months, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable.
