Job Description

The appointee will be responsible for provision of support to the Team Leader in planning, organizing and conducting research in environment and human health areas. Duties include recruitment of participants, administration of consent form and physiological-related instruments, testing and use of equipment, conducting of physiological measurement, data processing and analysis, preparation and writing of research reports, and monitoring of budget.

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Psychology, Health Science, Nursing, Environmental Science, Biology, Social Sciences or related disciplines;
  • Post-qualification experience:
    • For a Master’s Degree holder: at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in conducting research and co-ordinating research projects;
    • For a PhD holder: Experience in research or related co-ordination work is desirable;
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good team spirit, self-motivated and positive attitude; and
  • Proficiency in computer and statistical applications including MS Office application (English and Chinese), SPSS, etc.

 

Reference salary range: HK$24,700 - HK$29,600 per month

Initial appointment for the above post will be made on a fixed term contract of 6 months commencing February 2020 or as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The appointee will be required to serve on the Shatin Shek Mun Campus.
