The appointees are expected to participate in research projects to develop novel biological processes for saline wastewater treatment and reuse, and participate in the project design, planning, and execution of the laboratory work, while helping the Principal Investigator and Manager to coordinate the project, to work with the team to prepare research proposals. They shall apply chemical and microbiological analytical techniques for wastewater and sludge analysis.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in environmental engineering or other related fields. Experience in (1) membrane-aerated biofilm reactor or (2) environmental genetics and genomics would be an advantage. (Duration: 1 year)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
