Job Description and Responsibility
"Overall Purpose of the Role
? The Release Manager will own the Release Management Process which includes managing, scheduling and planning software delivery across various platforms, services and technologies with complex dependencies in a very high growth environment where priorities shift quickly. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) in a delivery pipeline that will perform automated quality checks, deploy applications quickly, and provide operational metrics that can be consumed by development team. An ideal candidate for this role will have experience in development, automation, and operations support that provides them with a good understanding of the developers they are working with, while also balancing customer satisfaction and maintaining critical systems uptime. You will collaborate closely with Project Management, Infrastructure, Operation, Security and Application Solution team to deliver a fully automated end-to-end release management process. Therefore, excellent communication skills and strong technical competency are essential.
Accountabilities – Key Result Areas
This role will have organizational, project, leadership and operational responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, the following:
? Operate an automated release management pipeline which delivers tooling for next generation application development efforts (the Dev) and on-going production operations (the Ops). Cultivate a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery mind set.
? Enable and support development team to facilitate the full automation of release management pipeline to include: the automated build process, environment setups, testing scripts, deployments, and production operational metrics/debugging information.
? Partner with development and operations teams to develop practical automation solutions and custom modules. Troubleshoot automation issues and find practical solutions that move projects forward in a timely manner.
? Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for DevOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice.
? Plan, organize, and control multiple responsibilities to achieve project objectives; technically guide projects through to completion. Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality.
? Work with teams to bring continuous improvement to ALM processes and tools. Develop and own KPIs to ensure performance is measured against expected business outcomes.
? Be an ambassador for the security and compliance teams, fostering a supportive approach to ensuring that security and compliance standards are followed.

Qualification:
"Experience / Qualification Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or relevant experience and accomplishments.
? A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, of which at least 2 years at the supervisory level.
? Understand how to automate builds for developer environments from development through production within a Continuous Delivery model.
? Experience of practical implementations of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools.
? Direct, hands-on experience with DevOps and release management tools
? Sound experience with cloud services – Azure and Alibaba Cloud preferred
? Familiarity with Microservices architecture, working experience a plus
? Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, always-available service model
? Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately with technical teams.
? Excellent influencing and reasoning skills; good at conflict resolution and consensus building.
? After hours on-call support required.
? Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua.

Technical Competencies
? Strong technical experience in Visual Studio, HTML5, CORDOVA, Power Designer, Eclipse, IDEA, Java, BPM & Workflow, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP, iOS, Android, Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat JBOSS Server.
? Experience with continuous integration tools, such as VSTS, Jenkins, Microsoft TFS, TeamCity, etc.
? Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
? Experience with packaging programs like MSI, rpm, or other.
? Knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers etc.
? Knowledgeable about current and possible future IT trends and technology.
