Job Description

Job purpose:

As a part of a successful and growing international team, the financial institution team develops business opportunities with institutional clients and prospects in the field of commercial banking, investment banking and asset management. Our clients and prospects include commercial banks, investment banks, asset management firms, family offices and corporations. Being the Bank’s regional business hub, Luxembourg sales team is also supported by local sales force in the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Greece and Ireland. The Relationship Assistant Manager /Manager of Financial Institutions Department will participate in the Bank’s business development as well as undertaking any other tasks assigned to him/her by the Bank, which are mainly targeted to ensure the achievement of performance objectives of Financial Institution business and contributions to growing the Financial Institution business.

Responsibilities of the Relationship Assistant Manager/Manager would be, but not be limited to, the following:

·       To strengthen the relationship with existing financial institution clients, explore and establish new business relationship with financial institutions and provide relevant support or services to the clients.

·       To promote the Bank’s business strategy with financial institution clients.

·       To maintain relationships with existing investors and grow up network by searching for prospects.

·       To set up qualified meetings and providing meaningful market information regarding underlying assets and product features.

·       To prepare analysis and reports related to business promotion.

·       To implement and support marketing campaigns.

·       To conduct market research in regards to competitors and similar products

·       To represent the Bank in professional seminars, network events and road shows. 

·       To coordinate regularly with internal and external stakeholders

·       To offer regular internal trainings.

Qualifications

Profile (Technical Skills):

·       A university degree one of the relevant fields as Banking, Finance or Business

·       A sound understanding of commercial banking industry

·       A significant working experience in the banking industry ( at least 3 years )

·       Good knowledge and understanding of relationship management with financial institution clients

·       Good knowledge and understanding of current compliance regulations are preferred

·       Excellent in both oral and written English, fluent in Chinese communication is an advantage
