Position Summary

The CSM Regional Senior Analyst is a comprehensive role responsible to ensure internal control compliance, provide accurate information and insightful analysis and effective business partnering to help with business decision making and drive business performances for CSM business covering Greater China region.

Job duties & responsibilities

Effectively drive CSM Annual Operating Plan/Forecasting/Performance analysis

• Proactively engage in the end-to-end Annual Operating Plan preparation as a process owner to come up with the P&L AOP with the business team.
• Provide insights of risks and opportunities based on solid understanding of business trend and business forecast behavior.
• Partner with business managers to influence and track productivity goals and build into plan/forecast to achieve profitability.

Provide reasonable assurance around internal control and compliance for CSM

• Due diligent finance review in the required processes including proposal approval, revenue recognition, etc.
• Continuous influence on the business team around sense of compliance the in day-to-day operations.
• Provide guidance and training on policies and procedures as appropriate to maintain the level of awareness.

Perform informative reporting and insightful analysis around to facilitate management decision making for CSM

• Closely monitor the dynamics of the topline/order booking and report on a regular basis.
• Analyze the root cause for monthly actual performance variance versus AOP/Forecast and flag out any issues and risks to management including topline and operating earnings.
• Drive performance by providing value-add analysis such as profitability improvement to management.

Actively engage in business partnering from Finance perspective CSM

• Review the unbilled projects in coordination AR team and business people, gauge variance of revenue earned vs. project to date billings, identify invoicing milestones and any issues preventing billings, partner with project managers to ensure invoicing to customers in a timely manner.
• Analyze T&E spending to improve cost productivity.
• Participate project reviews/business meetings to monitor project status and provide financial support.
• Provide finance training and guidance to the business team as appropriate.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Financial Controller.
• Contribute to the regional FP&A team with experience and knowledge sharing.
• Drive finance productivity for both local and regional team

Maintaining regular cadence with BU

• Driving the local project review with PM/FLT managers.
• Internal review with BU along with credit team for sorting out any collection related issues.
• Ensure regular RCA review is being done for CSM team to follow compliance requirements.

Ensure the local statutory requirements being fulfilled:

• Supporting in various local statutory audits and completion within timeline.

Qualifications and Education

• Possess a minimum of a bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance; (CA/CMA/MBA)
• Experiences including recent financial planning & analysis preferably in automation or similar industries.
• Sufficient maturity to independently handle the complexity of working with multiple business managers.
• Possess understanding of project accounting and project FP&A related experience is preferred.
• Possess good communication and solid analysis skills
• Motivated quick learner, team player with strong business acumen
• Familiarity with systems such as Hyperion/HFM, SAP, excellent at Excel data processing.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin orally and in written.
