Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Head and drive Regional IT department team to attain set standards and objectives.
  • Understand and apply the corporate procedures and standards for IT administration.
  • Monitor and train the Regional IT Helpdesk department in order to ensure that the IT administration procedures are applied, and the SLA’s are respected.
  • Organize and communicate priorities, coordinate technology projects, troubleshoot system issues, and provide direct support of networks, endpoints, and applications.
  • Maintain and administer regional IT infrastructure (computers, servers, printers, network).
  • Oversee all employees in systems, computers and information departments to check for computer users.
  • Conduct audit of infrastructure, IT contracts and organization on markets.
  • Prepare and maintain apt disaster recovery plans for consistent business operations.
  • Manage, monitor and report on service delivery and application maintenance.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Interact directly with all departments’ heads to identify regional needs, and in return give feedback to the corporate IT team on these needs.
  • Understand corporate IT projects and be able to flow this information to the regional business departments, in order for them to understand the impact and benefit of these projects.
  • Capture project requirements, coordinate change management and communication, manage schedule and deliverables that support project goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Update evolving technologies and recommend improved equipment and systems.

Requirements&Competencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications and work experience in information technology.
  • 5 to 10 year’ work experience as IT Manager in an international environment, supervising a Helpdesk team.
  • Technical knowledge of IT administration in a Windows environment (Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Server Virtualisation, etc.).
  • Technical background on telecom network, IP network, etc.
  • May include local and regional travel.
  • Fluent in English.
