THE JOB
Reporting to the Head Rugby Coach, the Rugby Coach will be responsible for the following duties:
l To coordinate, design, and implement training programmes for elite female athletes in Hong Kong;
l To fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite training outcomes;
l To monitor athlete performance through comprehensive, multi-method assessment and regular evaluation;
l To provide timely and critically analysed progress reports to the HKSI and Hong Kong Rugby Union;
l To be responsible for administrative matters related to local and overseas squad training and competitions;
l To supervise Assistant Coaches and part-time coaches;
l To assist the HKSI and Hong Kong Rugby Union with coach education programmes; and
l To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.
THE REQUIREMENTS
l University degree or its equivalent;
l Holder of a valid coaching certificate issued by the relevant governing body;
l Full understanding of the use of GPS systems and its impact on training loads;
l A minimum of 5 years professional coaching experience and proven record of achievement in coaching rugby athletes at national level or its equivalent;
l Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
l High level of computer literacy; and
l Awareness / knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責
欖球教練須向欖球總教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：
l 負責籌劃、設計和執行香港女子欖球精英運動員訓練計劃；
l 在進行精英訓練計劃時，善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務，以加強訓練成果；
l 透過全面性、多方位和定期評估，以監察運動員的表現；
l 提交適時及具分析性的進度報告予體院及香港欖球總會；
l 負責運動員於本地及海外訓練及比賽的行政工作；
l 督導助理教練及兼職教練的工作；
l 協助體院及香港欖球總會的教練培訓工作；及
l 履行由上司所指派的任何適當工作。
職位要求
l 大學學位或同等學歷；
l 持有由相關管理機構頒發的教練証書資歷；
l 熟悉全球定位系統及其對訓練負荷的作用；
l 具備最少五年專業教練經驗，及曾帶領欖球運動員在國家級或同等水平賽事中獲得優異成績；
l 具備良好溝通能力及人際關係；
l 熟悉電腦操作；及
l 認識香港保護兒童及平等機會政策為佳。
