Summary:
A new generation robotic process automation (RPA) technology now exists that will enable us to explore and drive efficiencies across the enterprise. A RPA COE(Center Of Excellence) team operates within our organization to drive values for the company by this new generation technology while working closely with a variety of stakeholders. This role is a part of the RPA COE team and will be responsible for providing the RPA infrastructure and platform support.
Detailed Description:
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Promotion of releases, including:
-
Controlled runs
-
Troubleshooting pre-prod bugs with devs
-
-
Set up and manage the maintenance windows
-
Managing/optimising Azure infrastructure
-
Installation/configuration of new applications, including:
-
Assessing upcoming applications
-
ENHC & Bit9 requests
-
Upgrades (e.g. Connectwise Control, SAP)
-
-
Bi-annual Blue Prism (BP) upgrades
-
Getting and maintaining production credentials and access, including:
-
Chasing additional accesses for SAP roles as required
-
Regular, frequent rotation of passwords
-
-
BP roles (access within Blue Prism)
-
Improving the developer experience and bot performance across geographies
-
Schedule management & changes (including upcoming processes & Google calendar)
-
Ad-hoc jobs (including reruns)
-
Monitoring (via dashboard or scripts):
-
Queues for backlog
-
Dynamics 365 cases
-
Bot capacity
-
Failed runs
-
Infrequent/unreliable/critical processes
-
-
Troubleshooting failed runs, including:
-
Gathering logs and creating a case for bugs
-
Damage control and clean-up
-
Stepping through processes with devs
-
-
Liaising with BP support
-
Triaging RPA network drive issues
-
Bot build, including groups
-
Bot demise, including reclaiming components and licenses
-
Ownership of tools to support RPA itself, including:
-
Processes, e.g. Endpoint Validation
-
Error codes
-
-
Archival mechanisms suitable for audit requirements
-
Miscellaneous issues, reported by the business or developers, or found day-to-day
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
-
Fluent in English (CET 4 above) as the role is working in a global environment
-
The ability to learn in a fast-paced environment is critical, as the role is expected to comprehend and transform existing business processes into automated solutions within short timeframes.

Passion for process optimization and continuous improvement

Knowledge of at least one business processes performed by GBS and our clients.

Ability to facilitate and/or perform documentation of business flows

Physical Demands:
● Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment
● 25% travel requirement
● Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
● Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
● Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines
● Availability to meet with clients who are located around the globe so there will be a need to join or lead web-conference calls during evening hours.
Typical Experience:
● 3 plus years of relevant CLS business/operational experience
● Experience with RPA software an asset
● Experience with Visual basic and/or Excel macros is an asset
● Experience with Visio and/or Bizagi is an asset
● Experience with SQL is an asset
Typical Education:
● Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
