As a R&D Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of R&D engineers working on mechanical design of a wide range of electrical motors and generators, for Motion Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the R&D Manager, you will develop the competences of your team members to enable successful execution of future projects and maintenance.

Your responsibilities

• Leading a team of R&D engineers working on mechanical design of a wide range of electrical motors and generators
• Leading and coaching your team members for high-level performance
• Developing the competences of your team members to enable successful execution of future projects and maintenance
• Planning and follow-up on team resource allocation
• Ownership of dedicated products’ mechanical structure and dimensions

Your background

• Work experience in product development is an advantage
• Experience in Lean and Agile methodology and know-how of Lean Six Sigma are appreciated
• A Bachelor and above in Mechanical Engineering
• Good leadership and collaboration skills
• Good planning and organization skills
• A proactive and systematic way of working
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
