As a R&D Intern you will be responsible for ABB middle voltage circuit breaker product design and technical issue, in Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.

Reporting to the R&D/Technology Manager, you will research the common design methods and tools of mechanical motion.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for ABB middle voltage circuit breaker product design and technical issue
• Being responsible for kinematic chain analysis of MV circuit breaker and establish theoretical analysis model
• Researching the common design methods and tools of mechanical motion

Your background

• Basic knowledge of middle voltage circuit breaker and vacuum interrupter
• Knowledge of mechanical motion, know the analysis method of multibody dynamic
• Familiar with Solidworks, Adams, Ansys and Visual C++ and Microsoft office
• Familiar with software development process
• A Master’s degree or above, major in mechanical or electrical engineering
• Good English and Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing ability
• Good teamwork and communication skill
