As an R&D Engineer-Software, you will be responsible for translating application storyboards and using cases into functional applications including test cases, in Process Automation Business Area in Hangzhou, China.

Reporting to the R&D/Technology Manager, you will ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Your responsibilities

• Translating application storyboards and using cases into functional applications including test cases
• Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable C#/C++ code
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization
• Working with a distributed team and finish tasks on time with high quality
• Helping to improve team capability and project progress, ensure the schedule and quality of the delivery

Your background

• Sound knowledge in C#/C++ (at least 1+ years of relevant programming experience) working in an international team.
• Familiarity with the .NET framework, Windows Presentation Framework, and MFC/STL
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming. Skill for writing reusable and readable C#/C++ code
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns. Implementing automated testing platforms, unit tests, and coded UI Test
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• A bachelor’s degree (BSc) / master’s degree (MSc) in a relevant technical education like computer science, control technology, or electronics engineering
• Better to have DCS experience and field bus knowledge
