PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Clarify and resolve differences or deviations during inspections

• Collaborate with project and production team to resolve critical and major inspection failures

• Partner with 3rd party inspection companies to run on site inspections and factory audit in quality management system (QMS)

• Set guidelines for scheduling inspections, review published schedule and recommend changes

• Provide clear and up-to-date inspection checkpoints and guidelines in production line

• Manage and execute assigned quality projects within agreed timelines.

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with key component suppliers

• Ensure compliance to standards/statutory requirements and understand customers’ standards and concerns major in US and EU market

• Implement in line and final quality inspection according to production schedule

• Implement Self-Inspection Programme by training our factories and vendors and certifying them to do self-inspections

• Periodically reviews inspection systems and procedures for suitability and effectiveness and recommend changes

• Maximize the efficiency of QC process and workflows of inspection

• Record quality defects and perform troubleshooting, Check samples and advice comments for improvement

• Analyze failed final inspection reports by exception and decide if shipment can be released

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENT

• Degree or above in related disciplines.

• Min. 5 years’ solid experience in quality assurance and control at factory for Hardline in Home accessories and Sundries and min. 3 years managerial experience

• Knowledge and experience of technical, production, quality management and product safety / functions.

• Working knowledge in quality management system (QMS) for audit, defect prevention and consumer satisfaction.

• Good verbal and written English and Chinese - Mandarin. Cantonese is advantage

• Good IT skills especially in the use of MS-Office applications.
