ABOUT THE ROLE
Interior Define is seeking a new team member to play a key role in expanding our brand story by joining our Supply Chain team in Asia. We are looking for a passionate individual who is excited to grow, innovate and disrupt the home furnishings industry through a transformative experience.
The ideal candidate is eager to help us expand our brand, and to create a unique customer experience that far exceeds the uninspired, traditional furniture buying process. We are a fast-growing, start-up reinventing the way people shop for custom furniture (beginning with sofas).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proficient in English at a level to speak, read and write
- Work directly with both China suppliers and US colleagues
- Drive continuous improvement plan on quality system and production process
- Provide timely relevant statistics or reports for management reference
- Perform In-process inspections at suppliers manufacturing facilities, document supplier non-conformances and initiate Supplier corrective actions requests as necessary
- Perform final inspections of each shipment at supplier manufacturing facilities, validating implementation of suppliers’ corrective actions
- Serve as a Lead on defective goods analysis and development of preventive measures
- Provide all relevant support throughout new product development (NPD) and production phase
- Work with suppliers to have pre-production meeting for any new launched products, perform PPAP during new product pilot production in supplier facilities. Correct any discrepancy between original design and actual products.
- Investigate and determine root causes and implement corrective actions for supplier non-conformances and manufacturing issues.
- Fully understand and translate engineering and quality specifications to suppliers. Assure that the specifications are fully understood and adhered to by all suppliers.
- Ensure that existing inspection and electronic database systems are accurate and functioning properly.
- Drive continuous product improvement through the use of quality systems to identify quality improvement needs, work with suppliers to drive execution of key quality improvements.
- Provide Quality Support at supplier facilities.
- Review SCARS for true root cause and effective corrective actions
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is excited about growth with the following credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, technical or science
- 3 Years experience working in an international company in quality
- Previous experience with American companies is required.
- Very good English communication skills and fluent in Mandarin
- Good computer software operational skills
- Good understanding in reading engineering files, specifications and prints
- Knowledge and understanding of quality, compliance regulations, and product
- Knowledge and understanding of textile or tooling, engineering, manufacturing
- Good reasoning ability and decision maker
- Good Excel and Office software application capability
- Good oral and written English, a clear and effective communicator
- Working Knowledge and experience of supply chain in Western company is a must and administration experience is preferred
- Well organized, patient, smart and Co-operative
- Willing and able to work under pressure and overtime
- You are self-directed and willing to learn new things, ask questions, and promote customer experiences

- Retail project management experience
- Knowledge about design and furniture
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with the customer service platform Zendesk
