Job Description
1. Position Summary
To direct and coordinate the activities of the Quality Assurance Program in LE plant
To perform product quality assurance and improvement duties in support of welding consumable production.

Formal qualifications:
National Quality Engineer qualification better.
Experience:
Analytical
To direct and coordinate the activities of the Quality Assurance Program in LE plant
To perform product quality assurance and improvement duties in support of welding consumable production.
2. Responsibilities
- Planning and promotion with regard to the company standardization and quality control.
- Supervision of the establishment, revision, withdrawal and control of company standards.
- Assessment of the quality level of the industrial and mineral products, etc. concerning certification of the registered certification body.
- Guidance and advice, and coordination among departments with regard to the implementation of company standardization and quality control of each process.
- Treatment with regard to abnormalities, complaints, etc. generated in the process and guidance and advice for the measures.
- Promotion of education and training on the company standardization and quality control for the employee.
- Guidance and advice on the subcontract management.
- Confirmation of conformity with Japanese Industrial Standard of the industrial and mineral products, etc. concerning the certification of the registered certification body.
- Confirmation of shipment of the industrial and mineral products, etc. concerning certification of the registered certification body.
- Work for LE plant to develop product quality assurance system.
- Participate in root cause problem solving with Lincoln personnel and suppliers as necessary.
- Maintain and measure continuous improvement.
- Drive CAR systems to ensure continuous improvement goals are met on time.
- Interface with customers as required for ensuring Lincoln's product quality to meet customer needs.
- Work with other related departments and personnel to ensure that quality investigations and quality improvement initiatives are carried out on time .
- Set up inspection specification for production process according to Lincoln's standard.
- Statistics & analysis quality performance of production line. Data base improvement.
- Communicate with production manager and process engineer, developing engineer, etc on quality issue as required.
- Perform partly supplier improvement support and incoming material quality control activities.
- Information communication as required.
- Comply with all policies and procedures implemented by the Company to satisfy legislative requirements, particularly EHS, Financial and Employment legislation.
- Comply at all times with the Lincoln Electric Code of Corporate Conduct.

4. Knowledge & Skills
Formal qualifications:
National Quality Engineer qualification better.
Experience:
- At least 4 years working experience in quality field of continuous process manufacturing industry (such as cement, fire glass, plasterboard, etc.) and quality management.
- Practical experience in the use of Statistics Process Control.
- Background of chemical engineering or mines is definitely an advantage.
- Good leadership.
- Good English in oral and in writing.
- Basic knowledge of Statistics & analysis, or 6 sigma.
- Working knowledge of problem solving techniques.
- Strong knowledge product quality control.
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to guide and train QA team.
Analytical

- Ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem solving.
- Ability to identify, research, and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated capacity to work to deadlines, schedules and guidelines, with attention to detail.
