THE ROLE:

As a key member of Vallen China, the Purchasing Manager plays a key role in organizing and supervising the comprehensive purchasing functions in compliance with mandated requirements. The ultimate goal of this role is to optimise inventory levels whilst maintaining high service levels for our customer base. A special focus should always remain on maximising stock turns and minimising dead / obsolete inventory.

We're looking for someone like that to help us by:

• According to purchasing strategy talk with KAMs and then to execute by buyers
• Establish & implement purchasing process, supervise and control the purchase order amount and contract execution
• Monitor daily purchasing report and it's execute status
• Control & Monitor total stock amount and inventory turnover & ROP line
• Review Order, Invoice & Rebate data with PMs by monthly/quarterly
• Payment control & Rebate management , Accounting coordinate
• Negotiate contract with suppliers in cooperation with respective Product Managers ( the final responsibility for contracts with Vendors is at Product Managers)
• Continuously monitor relationship with suppliers and report irregular dealings timorously
• Vendor management (analysis and management, negotiations, execution of contracts)
• Continuous improvement initiatives are implemented and managed in order to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Responsible for customer relationship management (internal and external ),Coordinate Internal customer to improve work flow and increase productivity
• Motivate team members by Clarify expectations
• Other works assigned by General Manager

• At least 7 years of experience in Supply Chain for MNCs
• Experience in MRO products
• Experience in Prior Lean / Six Sigma in a transactional environment preferred but not essential
• Experience implementing Lean thinking in business processes using Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Action Workout, Just Do It in a transactional environment preferred but not essential
