Job Description

Job Requirements:
1.University or master degree or above with engineering related, Knowledge in Optical or Electrical or Mechanical materials & processing; experience in machining or optical field preferred;
2.At least 5 years’ experience in industrial material purchasing, hands-on experience on high mix low volume purchasing is highly preferred.
3.Strong experience with KPI management
4.Well know MRP system ( Aware of SAP is better );
5.Good skills of leadership, Communication, Strategic planning, and analytical ability, Good command of oral and written English, Japanese a plus.
6.Strong spirit against high level pressure of company speed and various task proceeding.
7.Strong relationship building capability with engineering department of both MTX & MSZ.
Major Duties:
Plan, direct, and monitor all purchasing activities to ensure a cost, speed, quality effective to fulfill business requirements.
1 Sourcing:
1.1 Responsible for the supervision of company sourcing process to ensure the implementation of sourcing plans and policies.
1.2 Set up the purchasing plan according to the company target; lead the purchasing team to implement the plan, timely follow-up and feedback the implementation process.
1.3 Supplier ordering policy set up for main parts category for short period and midterm period, i.e. Optical parts , Mechanical parts , electrical parts
1.4 Control the price and quality of all kinds of purchasing goods,
1.5 Set up purchasing management system, standardize purchasing work.
1.6 Improve the operation process, set up the quantifiable, verifiable and scientific purchasing process.
1.7 Making new product development plan, formulate effective supply chain improvement plan according to the actual production ability and the technical ability.
1.8 Manage and coordinate the relationship with main suppliers, develop new suppliers, effectively control the purchase cost, ensure cost down.
1.9 Cooperate with the QC department to guarantee product quality and delivery time.
2 Supervision:
2.1 Leads, promotes, and motivates the employees within his/her area of responsibility (especially performance appraisal and goal setting agreement, successor and representative planning, personnel development and training measures).
3 EHS:
3.1 Ensures adherence to and monitoring of legal laws and internal regulations concerning EHS in his/her organizational unit and is occasionally involved in the development of new concepts and directives in close cooperation with EHS site advisor. Ensures implementation of the concepts in his/her area of responsibility and takes care of the corresponding instruction and training of his/her employees.
4 Lean-Manufacturing:
4.1 Assist and support the lean activities
4.2 Performs other duties as assigned.
