Job Description

Responsibilities

1,Sourcing:

  • Responsible for efficient sourcing & purchasing of direct materials, indirect materials, office supplies, spare parts and capital equipment. Receives purchase requisitions and verifies for accuracy and authorization(s).
  • To understand the cost drivers, monitor & report on cost trends for key raw materials impacting product categories.
  • To conduct price benchmarking, evaluates and recommends new / substitute vendors, when necessary.
  • Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, assessing and selecting vendors based on Quality, Cost, Capabilities, and Performance.
  • To liaise with Engineering, R&D & QA in getting samples to conduct evaluation, trial runs, factory audit and qualify vendors on our AVL

2,Purchasing:

  • To collaborate with Planning Group on Materials Forecast and Preparation of Purchase Order with reference to Supply Chain Strategies & Allocations
  • Pursue Purchases according to Supply Chain Strategies, Company Policies and Procedures; maintains accurate purchasing records
  • Maintains rapport and good working relationships with vendors; keeps accurate vendor & service providers records.
  • Evaluates inventory reorder levels and quantity price breaks to determine most economical purchasing of inventory and supplies in relationship to company’s cost of capital.
  • Prepares monthly reports and reviews forecast of purchasing commitments with Director of Supply Chain.

3,Custom Handling: (The most important)

  • Supervise the custom handling for import/export materials, maintains accurate consumption, materials in & out record, balance of custom handbook vs inventory

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of degree ?
  • 5 years + Proven work experience in sourcing and supply chain managerial position. ?
  • Work exposure at manufacturing environment and working experience in Multinational Company (MNC)
  • Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts within the company to achieve objectives. ? Strictly on Integrity, sustain confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance on Ethical code of conduct & business practices ? Excellent Negotiation skills, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
  • Ability to identify & implement processes improvement
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Addressing to details and comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Putonghua, English)
  • Hands on Microsoft (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
