Summary
A fortune 500, Chinese State Owned Corporation is looking for an Intern to join its Iron Ore Purchasing department in Shanghai. The Intern will work closely with the manager in charge in developing the country or region in order to find reliable suppliers of iron ore. The position will require searching for resources and sending mails introducing the group and establishing new connections. The candidate will be provided basic training to understand the iron ore industry and get a better understanding of how to search, contact and select a reliable supplier. There will be a good possibility of International travel to further research the market, which will be a perfect opportunity to learn hands on experience on the field from the manager in charge. If the employer likes the work of the Intern then there is a possibility of a Fulltime job offer at the end of internship.

Responsibilities
• Assist Manager in charge in Research & Development of Market/Region Allotted
• Developing Market Report – The same shall include topics such as Iron Ore Mining Areas, Mining Companies, Socio-political News of the market, Governmental View to Mining Industry.
• Sending Introduction Emails to Suppliers to Establish Connections
• Communication Follow-up
• Other tasks assigned by the Manager In-charge

Requirements
• Native level English Speaker
• Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred
• Degree in Business Management/Marketing/International Business from a reputed University
• Innovative and Out of the box thinker
• Ability to multi task and work under pressure
• Ability to work in a team

Stipend
Monthly Stipend + Housing Allowance + Appropriate Visa will be sponsored and arranged by the company
