KEY SERVICES:

• Management of subordinate PBP review and coach;
• Manage the interface with other departments;
• Follow DPES policy and procedure;
• Provide training and cross training for staff and develop subordinate;
• Implement EC4 activities to reach plant material cost reduction target;
• Lead plant localization team to develop, implement and improve localization plan in China;
• Assist Purchase Manager to define saving strategy and realize the objective of material price reduction in China;
• Responsible for material budget in plant;
• Responsible of MCIP/IMCIP activities in plant;
• Support local lean / OS Implementation;
• Supplier cost recovery;
• Internal control compliance;
• New business pursuit support;
• Actively participate in the management of policies, work standards, operations, budgeting, management, employment, employee relationships, quality and health and safety;

QUALIFICATION:

• University level degree in Engineering or Commerce; Bachelor degree or above;
• Proficiency in oral, reading and written English, and second foreign language is preferred as well;
• Relevant computer ability;
• Strong sense of responsibility and communication skill;
• At least 1-2 year experience in purchasing localization or relevant area;
• JV or WOE experience preferred;
• The automotive process approach to auditing, including risk based thinking;
• Applicable customer and organization specific requirements;
• Applicable ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements related to the scope of the audit;
• Applicable manufacturing process(es) to be audited, including PFMEA and control plan;
• Applicable core tool requirements related to the scope of the audit;
• How to plan, conduct, prepare audit reports, and close out audit findings.
