Public speaking course teacher

Instruct a course that is focused on public speaking and debate skills. The focus of the course would be to work closely with students to improve on all aspects of their speaking. Pronunciation coaching, voice projection improvement, and body language instruction would all be a main focus of the course. Teacher should also be prepared for supplemental lessons, such as proper use of technology during presentations. Position would be responsible to organize opportunities for students to showcase and utilize the skills taught in this course, such as debate and speech competitions.

Essential Functions
•Meets and instructs assigned classes.
•Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets with the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students. Prepares for classes assigned, and shows ability to adjust materials and expectations of a single lesson to multiple levels of English proficiency.
•Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required, and can create these assessments independently from materials selected by the teacher.
•Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
•Work in cooperation with all staff and administration in a professional and helpful manner.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary:Negotiable,Pretax 30k above+ full paid holiday+flight allowance+insurance

Basic Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree or above.
•Over 2 years of international school teaching experience.
•Public Speaking and Emcee Experience
•Professional teaching certification, or the equivalent in the education field.
•A high level of English proficiency with the ability and willingness to use it as the language of instruction at our school.
