• Responsible for Supplier cost management for all relevant purchased parts including

• RFQ (request for quotation)

• Total cost of ownership

• Cost change

• Supplier selection in line with Dura procedures.

  These responsibilities will require liaison with other areas of the purchasing organization i.e. commodity and operation buyers as required to ensure that the Dura goals are being achieved.

• Supplier APQP phases 0-3 based on CFT (cross functional team) RACI chart responsibilities.

  These responsibilities will include working in the cross functional team ensuring that all purchasing requirements according to the APQP procedures are met and communicated within the CFT and the wider organization. This will include both supplier and Dura facility visits to ensure compliance to the project goals.

• Maintain relevant Purchasing reports as required for management review. Regular feedback to management will be required as to the status of each project using Dura standard reports.

• Continuous interaction with the wider purchasing community to ensure purchasing strategy is being executed.

• Supports ensuring that all statutory regulations concerning health, safety and environmental standards are adhered to; as well as the company sustainable development program.

• Demonstrates commitment to the principle of continuous improvement.

• Complete and perform other duties/tasks as may be assigned.
  

  STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate’s Degree or Purchasing Degree.

• Be able to speak English to an acceptable level.

• Up to 3 years of related experience is required..

• Additional education may be substituted for experience and vice versa.

• Working Assignments require a good working knowledge of procedures.
