This is a unique opportunity to work with Customers, Partners, Sales, and process stakeholders as part of the Professional Services team.  The project manager will be responsible for delivery of strategic Data Center projects to our Customers.  The ideal candidate will be accountable for maintaining the project schedule, project budget, and will be responsible for coordinating Lenovo resources and external resources working for Lenovo. This particular role will be solely dedicated to working with a large retail customer and this initial project will be about 8 months in duration.  After the successful implementation, you will be assigned to other key projects and customers. The ideal candidate will bring a “drive for results” attitude and will be a focused and customer-centric project manager. #### Position Requirements: Minimum Requirements: • 10+ years experiencing delivering IT projects as a Project Manager or Program Manager • 10+ years working with internal and external dependencies for the delivery of IT projects • Ability to plan, execute, and monitor project activities • Effective communication in the form of status reports, milestone updates, and executive summaries to both Customer and internal stakeholders • Knowledge regarding typical data center IT project design including racking, cabling, configuration, and testing Preferred Requirements: • Project Management experience within the large-scale retail or consumer goods industry is preferred • PMP or other Project Management certification is preferred We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
