This role will work closely with Senior Project Managerwithin the SDOteam. The role will be responsible for the day to day planning & delivery of project activities for a high profile BI report automation projectwhich is related to automation ofexisting reports from legacy systemsto Microsoft AZURE with latestcloudtechnologies.

This role is an exciting opportunity to work on a high profile project, delivering the automationofexisting/new reports build on cloudwith a primary focus on the Hong Kong business. and will betransitioned to other business projects within SDO once this project finishes


Work closely with CDO, Data Science team, Business unitsandSenior Project Manager to define & document the scope, budget, resource requirements and work plan for projects

· Define and document the quality, risk and communications plans for projects

· Establish, lead and motivate the project teams to carry out all project tasks and deliverables according to agreed time and cost estimates

· Work with Senior Project Manager to align deliverables and dependencies across digital transformation workstreams

· Work with external vendor and IT teamto automate the existing reportsonAZUREcloud for various departments

· Influence project stakeholders to provide support and inputs required to ensure projects' success

· Chair and facilitate project status/design meetings including brainstorming, decision making and issue resolution

· Communicate to all project stakeholders on project progress, issues and status.

· Manage project teams - including prioritization, delegation and review of tasks and deliverables

· Ensure all project costs are budgeted, forecasted, accrued and charged appropriately and on a timely basis

· Manage external vendors effectively, including the management of vendor costs and quality of delivery

· Perform project knowledge transfer into the IT support team and relevant business units

· Perform project closure including closure of project cost accounts, storage of project files, post implementation reviews and continuous benefit tracking

· Assist in the planning of overall delivery roadmap of the digital and automation program

· Work with senior project manager & project sponsors in shaping and planning new projects, including definition of business cases, in line with business strategy

· Proactive to share experiences & provide energy within the team

· Contribute in the development of SDO such as knowledge sharing, development of best practices and internal promotion/communication

· Other tasks or duties as assigned by Senior Management

Experience / Qualifications:

· Understanding of both waterfall and agile project management approach

· Knowledge of financial services &/or insurance industry desirable

· Experience in delivering BI Reportingautomation projects on AZURE cloud isdesirable

· Technical knowledge on could and BI reporting is desired

· Strategic Planning experience desirable

· Strong Financial analysis / Business analysis skills

· Strong Change Management skills

· More than 5 years solid experience in project management / consulting

· University graduate, preferably in Business, Finance, IT or related disciplines
