Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to management our team in developing new products within the lighting industry. The ideal candidate should have college degree or above in electronic or mechanical engineering, with plentiful project management experience within lighting industry or small home appliances. The candidate should also have expertise in R&D development procedure and engineering knowledge is better.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities :
• Interface with Germany management team to review project goals and priorities.
• Organize design team to proceed feasibility assessment base on new project requirements;
• Base on project design spec., organize project design team (Include ME/EE/PE/QA/Product etc.) and initiate a project.
• Create project timelines for each project to R&D team and ensure project can meet each mile- stone.
• Continuously optimize the project plan/confirm the key routes/tracking actual project progress and monitor project risk management, regularly report the project progress to line manager, keeping effective communication and cooperation between project team members
• Hold project meeting and conduct design reviews (Including: DFMEA/PFMEA etc.) in each design stage.
• Base on Astera development procedure to create and maintain project documents.
• Base on project schedule’s milestone hold meeting to design review and record/follow relevant issue to be closed.
• Project cost gathering / analyses / create / updated and organize related personnel doing cost reduction assessed.
• Coordinate project engineering changes and ensure engineering changed in effective implementation base on development process.
• Leading internal and external engineer development jobs, keeping good communication with each department in order to ensure new products in to MP stage smoothly in time at NPI stage.
• Monitor project validation test and leading relate department finished DOE test in NPI stage.
• Actively cooperate with other departments to complete related jobs.

Qualifications/competencies :
• College degree or above in electronic engineering, mechanical engineering or related areas.
• More than 10 years of project management experience within the lighting industry or small home appliances.
• Familiarity with new product development process from new technology research, feasibility study.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong capability of cost control, process control, risk management, and supplier management.
• PMP certificate is better.

Preferred Skills:
• Good communication skills to contact with internal and external persons.
• Familiarity with new product development process.
• Team management experience to ensure project timeline on time.
• Familiarity with engineering knowledge is better.
• Fluent English skills must.
• Familiarity with office software (include: word/excel/ PowerPoint /project etc.) and know AutoCAD / Solidworks software is better.
