As a Project Manager, ABB Distribution Solutions are a global leader in power distribution solutions, delivering pioneering low and medium-voltage innovations and services. We care about your tomorrow, providing solutions for a smarter, safer, environmentally friendly and more reliable flow and distribution of electricity.

You will lead projects within the Secondary GIS Product Group/ Distribution Solutions Business Line/ Electrification Business in Beijing /China country/NAS region. You will lead the execution of projects and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets.

• Set up the project team and drive high effective project execution in the team. Consider the risks identified during the tender stage and implement mitigating actions effectively.
• Effectively monitor and control project progress and efficient resource utilization. Coordinate and push the project moving to delivery on time.
• Monitor and control project financials, optimize cost control in project execution.
• Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project. Ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed. Drives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
• Implement the document control and maintain tracking record for project communication, report the project status regularly.
• Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Leading technical clarification with Customer, supporting technical inquiry from Customer. Resolve project and site issue from Customer.
• Ensure the project follows and complies with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.

• Bachelor’s Degree, major in Electrical Automation or relevant discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Electrical Design, and at least 2 years of experience in Project Management, ideally managing oversea projects.
• Familiar with Switchgear Structure, Power System and Application.
• Good communication, problem-solving skills and ability of responsibility and leadership.
• Proficient in in office software, e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
• Has a positive progressive attitude under pressure to work.
• Strong ability to solve conflicts.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
