Position Summary

Lead JQD and HRB factory based project managers and relevant business metrics; Be responsible for successful project implementation starting with marketing support on proposal generation through startup/final customer acceptance, manage；Manager interface with country based ETO project managers; Supervise JQD and HRB factory based project managers during the Initiate, Plan, Execute & Control and Close phases on Power Control Business projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for assigned projects within the PCB where scope of supply consists of Power Control Business equipment and 3rd part products, systems

2. Manages and leads project managers responsible for management of complex PCB projects

3. Establishes and manages project schedules including forecasting

4. Conducts regular project status meetings with project managers

5. Provides regular updates to management on critical projects and metrics

6. Reviews scope and pricing on all change orders that require delegation of authority

7. Manage and forecast hours required to maintain or improve order margins

8. Creates an environment conducive to successful team interaction with Engineering, OES or Operations group;

9. Frequently consults on projects led by others providing input on high-level design issues

10. Regularly schedules project review meetings with Project Managers. Review points include kickoff meeting, project budget, project schedule, effective use of assigned resources, drive open issues to resolution, anticipate and manage project risk (financial, schedule, technical, commercial), effective project communication with customer, engineering and manufacturing, escalate to management when required, customer satisfaction and acceptance

11. Responsible for PCB metrics which include on-time performance of all project milestones, minimize cycle time between milestones, change order revenue, project margin, shipment forecast, quality metrics, warranty costs and customer experience

12. Responsible for reporting/controlling of total project costs. Responsible for ensuring that project costs match scope of work and reflect all change orders to meet customer requirements. This responsibility includes creating, maintaining and forecasting project costs using SAP business system.

13. Confirm and coordinate all customer shipping requirements in order to obtain customer shipping release in order to meet forecast targets

14. Interact with post shipment support group when applicable to resolve any field complaints as quick as possible

15. Provide, communicate and enforce yearly goals and administer PADR process to all project managers

Qualifications and Education

1. B.S. Electrical Engineering Degree or related degree.

2. Minimum 4-year engineering degree from an accredited college or university.

3. Preferred degree is BSEE.

4. 5 plus years engineering experience with emphasis on AC motor control, drives, programmable controllers, and low voltage distribution, ETO business.

5. PMI-PMP certificated

6. Multinational corporation working experiences is preferred
