As a Project Design Engineer, you will be responsible for working as part of a team to do the technical design for large packaged analyzer systems projects, to deliver a technical design package on time and on budget, including the design of sample conditioning systems, analyzer houses and their infrastructure in Process Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.

Reporting to the General Manager-SIU, you will work with Senior Lead Engineer to meet schedule commitments by completing design on time.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring full compliance with Company ethical standards and HSE policy
• Designing technical excellence
• Working with Senior Lead Engineer to meet schedule commitments by completing design on time
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable technical specifications, codes and standards
• Ensuring production of and revision control for all engineering documentation and instruction manuals
• Providing operational performance and maintainability of fabricated systems
• Ensuring Quality management – ISO9001
• Communicating with sub-suppliers and internal parties

Your background

• Experience in the Refining, Chemical or Petrochemical industries and some knowledge of electrical equipment in hazardous areas is essential.
• A proven track record and design experience of instrument and analyzer systems
• Knowledge of applicable international standards is desirable
• A Degree in Engineering background
• Must be organized, disciplined and self-motivated
• Fluency in English communication in written and speaking
