Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Account Leads and customers to scope, plan and deliver complex Cloud Transformation initiatives with multiple work streams (e.g. deployment, integrations, etc.)
- Create and deliver executive-level, customer-facing status reports, dashboards, etc.
- Anticipate and proactively remediate program-level issues internally and with customers
- Act as a point of contact for internal and customer-escalations related to delivery of Cloud Transformation initiatives
- Ensure Cloud Transformation initiatives are delivered on-time and on-budget
- Prepare and drive Customer Consulting QBRs
- Partner with Support and Customer Success to ensure successful transition back into ongoing operations
- Provide leadership and mentoring through all phases of the project lifecycle
- Create and contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, high quality and Customer Service
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or computer related field 10+ years related experience leading a best-in-class project management organization
- Must have a broad, strong technical knowledge which encompasses datacenter technologies including hardware, networking, database, platform and application tiers
- Must possess strong results orientation and a demonstrated ability to deliver against his/her strategy within challenging time frames
- Must be an exceptional communicator and comfortable in presenting both in public and online to business and technical executives
- Ability to succeed through collaboration and working through other internal and external organizations and individuals (a track record of delivering results within a matrix business environment)
- Strong leadership capabilities and strong interpersonal skills required
- Ability to learn quickly and adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
- Sets high standards with respect to the treatment of customers and peers
Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle’s solution meets the customer’s objectives by combining industry best practices and product knowledge. Effectively applies Oracle’s methodologies and policies while adhering to contractual obligations, thereby minimizing Oracle’s risk and exposure. Exercises judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for effective project delivery on small to medium engagements. Provides direction and mentoring to project team. Effectively influences decisions at the management level of customer organizations. Ensures deliverables are acceptable and works closely with the customer to understand and manage project expectations. Supports business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain credibility. Manages the scope of medium sized projects including the recovery of remedial projects.
8-10 years of experience relevant to this position. Prior project team leadership or management experience. Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles. Comfortable working in a matrix management environment. Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the portfolio focus. Selling skills preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed.
