Major Tasks：

• Advise and work collaboratively with existing production manager to supervise day to day operations of factory production to achieve required outputs.
• Work closely with the existing production, engineering & quality teams to ensure all planned deliveries are achieved on time and to quality standards expected
• Measure and record manufacturing outputs to maintain a manufacturing efficiency KPI
• Support and advise existing production manager in the allocation of labour to manufacturing departments in line with master production schedule
• Ensure ALL safety processes and procedures are maintained and followed at all times, actively promoting safety awareness & continuous improvement.
• Fully comply with all requirements of the factories Quality Management System
• Schedule Daily Activity Briefings with factory workers to ensure a clear and concise plan of works is maintained.
• Monitor punctuality and attendance of factory workers
• Ensure all production workers are trained for their required manufacturing tasks
• Ensure all production workers have the required machinery, tools and equipment to carry out their work effectively & alert engineers when equipment is need of replacement, maintenance or repair.
• Notifies engineers of stock requirements of materials ensuring all materials are available when required
• Maintains a positive and pro-active attitude at all times
  

Preferred Qualifications：

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
• Membership to a recognized engineering group would be advantageous

• Proven track record of factory production management / supervision
• An understanding of quality standards
• Proficient communication skills with workers & management teams
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Problem solving / analysis

Advantageous skills / Qualifications：

• Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing techniques
• Knowledge of E&M systems
• Knowledge of welding procedures and inspections
