Who You'll Work With

The Global Manufacturing Operations APJC team is responsible for managing the manufacturing and fulfillment activities including PCBA manufacturing, assembly, direct fulfillment, and OEM/ODM management in the APJC region. In this role, you will lead manufacturing operations in the areas of Contract Manufacturer management, ODM management on Supply Operations assurance and manufacturing initiatives.
The selected individual will have the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally, partner with the CM/ODM and component suppliers as well as to take Supply Operations to the next level as it will be a critical responsibility of this individual to integrate these solutions with Cisco's manufacturing supply chain.

What You'll Do

? Communication with critical stakeholders, coordination, and alignment with manufacturing partners to manage PCBA build and support BU build plan

? Troubleshoot different issues based on data analytics

? Understand various sets of data for quality & process control and decision-making process

? Cost and productivity (Non-Material Spend, Transformation cost review and approval)

? Material Management, assurance of timely and sufficient trigger internal and external suppliers. Understanding of procurement process terminology required (e.g ROP Execution, supply demand reviews)

? Engineering Change Order management to ensure transparent implementation and minimized Inventory impact

? Excess and Obsolete management

? Capacity analysis and management according to forecast and different business needs

? BU & site level’s initiatives to drive operation excellence

Who You Are

? Extensive experience of manufacturing planning and supply chain management for a multinational or global company with strong knowledge of electronic industry supply chain.

? Experience in Contract Manufacturing and production operations; with good overall knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain

? Ability to develop solutions to complex problems which require creativity.

? Self-starter, self-motivated: Ability to thrive in a remote setting (immediate team, direct line manager and dotted line managers can be located in different countries/time zones)

? Results oriented and metric focused.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

? Skilled in influencing, persuasion, and negotiation. Demonstrates ability to influence teams to achieve shared vision and drive accountability.

? Ability to thrive in cross-functional environment. Ability to work well with a variety of people from different functions and cultures and in a virtual team setting, as well as having the flexibility to take on different roles/responsibilities as projects evolve and change

? Demonstrated achievements in excellent project management

? Typically requires BA/BS/BEng or equivalent plus 8+ years manufacturing experience. MBA is an added advantage.
