The work location is Target Hong Kong office.


Product teams at Target are accountable for the delivery of product outcomes. Product outcomes are a combination of delivering business value features, and creating a technology system that is easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and design work. As a Product Marketer of Target Owned Brand Sourcing, you will:


  • Be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful
  • Own the go-to-market plan for system functionality, design and facilitate kickoffs, trainings, feature spotlights, retrospectives with the expressed goal of user (Buyer and Planner) adoption and business outcomes delivered
  • Be familiar with and work inside the agile product model understanding the product strategy, related roadmap, and key business objectives (OKRs)
  • Leverage the knowledge of the products as well as the different needs of the users to advise product owners during quarterly planning, sprint reviews and discovery and design sessions as needed
  • Encourages the open exchange of information and viewpoints
  • Inspires others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organizations direction
  • Foster a sense of urgency and resiliency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles
  • Partner with influencers within merchandising and across other products to identify and market the expected and unexpected value that connected systems will bring


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of merchandising and/or marketing and/or product experience
  • Ability to find common ground, push for consistency where possible and navigate competing interests
  • Ability to apply knowledge of how a product is designed, built, deployed, and maintained in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Expert in product area you are supporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate and communicate complex concepts into easy-to-understand terminology
