:
Mission & Main Tasks:
China is the largest national market for Audi worldwide, representing about one third
of global deliveries. The task of the Corporate Planning & Strategy department is to develop long-term strategies to secure and extend the strong market position of Audi in China – in line with the global target of AUDI AG to become the No.1 premium brand worldwide.
The team also supports in the topics regional steering, general strategy and new business development, portfolio strategies, political topics, connect etc. to setup the right structures and offer the right products to serve the demand of customers in China. The department closely cooperates with AUDI AG, the Joint-Venture FAW-Volkswagen and all departments within Audi China in a cross-functional manner.
Job Duties:
- Self-reliant handling of assigned product management tasks with specialization in car projects:
a. Provide competent guidance, information research and inter-divisional coordination of assigned projects
I. Steering Audi China product process and Committee
ii. Leading cross-functional Product Team
iii. Coordinate product requests for car projects
b. Guarantee effective (sub) project coordination and communication for responsible functional area
c. Enhance workload distribution and responsibilities within project group according to project milestone perspective
- Ensure project quality and on schedule outputs
a. Align key performance indicators within relevant company stakeholders
b. Demand clear commitments by all stakeholder
c. Prioritize project tasks of team members and management communication
d. Track fulfilment of key performance indicators of the project
e. Compile and maintain records, statistical information and reports
f. Organize and track project related meetings
- Early identification and avoidance of problems
a. Pursue execution of aligned escalation mechanisms for identified project problems
b. Master conflict with communication and generate win-win solutions
c. Update the supervising management on status of issues before scheduled meetings
- Integration and alignment of positions of all stakeholders
a. Steering product process within Audi China
b. Entrepreneurial/content driven steering of all stakeholders to fulfill project goal
c. Aligning requirements with JV partners Coordinating and pushing Group synergies
d. Central contact for synchronization of project communication with related
departments of Volkswagen Group / Audi AG / Audi China / JVs
e. Represent project tasks within VW Group / AUDI AG / Audi China in the absence of the supervising management
f. Ensure smooth information flow at all times and be able to spontaneously give a current overview to the supervising management
g. Research and screen incoming reports, make preliminary assessment of the importance of materials and forward appropriate materials to the supervising management
- Contribute to achieve company goals and philosophy:
a. Profitable market penetration: Steering of regional product process and requests
b. Enhance effectiveness of the department by improving reliable basis for decision-making process
Qualifications:
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration / Automotive Engineering / related field
Professional skills:
- Broad professional / technical knowledge coverage, but also with deep

- 5-10 years in the respective field
