Job Summary : Driving strategic direction of the business and ensuring achievement of operating and production objectives consistent with quality assurance requirements and customer, optimizing the utilization of the workforce to minimize manufacturing costs to achieve high five. Expected focus on flawless launch and ramp-up of the new manufacturing lines, including the automatic lines, the low volume back up line, subassemblies and kitting stations. Participates as a key member of plant manager’s staff in all critical decisions impacting facility. Job Responsibilities : Manage processes, material, and personnel to ensure that finished material is shipped according to schedules. This includes coordination with sister plants, whenever needed. Maintain equipment and machines to optimize production output. Establish and maintain budgets, manpower and equipment requirements to support the needs of the customer both internally and externally. Ensure that systems and operations are compliant with prescribed Safety, quality and productivity requirements and identify and implement improvement opportunities. Define root causes to accidents, scrap and rework and develop permanent corrective action to reduce or eliminate. Analyze upcoming demand, being a co-leader of SiOP process for the assigned product line, to implement material schedules and support reliable manufacturing needs as well as assembly and service requirements. Implements, promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents thru the embedding of Live Saving Rules, Safety Principals, Standard Work, Non-Standard Work, Zero distractions policies, etc Develop and implement programs to achieve strategic goals of the plant, and profit plan objectives of the assigned product line in the plant. Develop main four competencies, Demonstrates Our Leadership Style, Thinks & Acts Strategically, Gets Results Through self & Others, Builds Organizational Capability. Promotes the company vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results. Qualifications Industrial Engineering degree or related fields required. 5 – 10 years’ experience in a management position within a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive) English – language capability, speaking, reading & writing required Broad technical knowledge in the areas of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, plant engineering, production/materials planning, maintenance needs and systems application. Financial knowledge for asset management, budgeting and profit plan obtainment. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.Strong leadership skills: must be capable of leading the assigned organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.
