• Get conceptual and abstract instructions from designers and customers to develop and researches innovation from market or supply chain as far as product from scratch;

• Communicate all necessary information to Client, Design, Suppliers and business team to ensure the effective and efficient creation of outstanding product;

• construction, pattern/fit, embellishment, trims to implement into product creation;

• To develop and secure products based on trend and business demand;

• To understand the market in terms of materials/products and analyze the capability of the supplier to show opportunities to the buyer;

• Ensure target price and product designs are aligned through predictive costing;

• Review, validate and approve costing information throughout the entire creation process, ensure compliance to agreed standards;

• Evaluate all prototypes for compliance, manages fit approval/size specification, approval of color, accessories and materials;

• Passion and adaptability towards fast changing fashion will inspire others on trends, materials and will drive them towards your solutions;

• Communication is a key success factor in coordinating multiple cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• College or University degree in Fabric technology and/or manufacturing or comparable education

• Minimum 5years of work experience in accessories industry

• Knowledge of costing and ability to negotiate as required

• Ability to fit a product and comment on changes required

• Effective communication and negotiation skills

• Excellent in English (written and spoken)
