Job Description:

? Working in a safe manner comply with site EHS standard

? Creative design of new products, formulations and test protocols in support of Textile and Industrial application developments.

? Development of broad silicon-based platform chemistries applicable across Textile and Industrial segmentations.

? Planning and execution of laboratory projects, from definition of customer needs through assistance with the scale-up and commercialization of new products.

? Effective management of multiple projects, ensuring clear alignment of goals and deliverables with business and market needs.

? Close collaboration with global product and application development teams as well as with marketing and business functions to ensure that projects are aligned globally and meet customer/market needs.

? Documenting and communicating project updates and executing projects using project management methodologies

? Provide technical data and literature for sales and marketing. Serve as a technical resource for new and existing products.

Requirements/Qualifications:

? Capability to work in lab in a safe manner.

? Master degree major in Chemistry or Polymer Science, with 2-5 years of chemical industry experiences, PhD degree is preferred

? Have a good knowledge of polymer synthesis and/or emulsions.

? Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a cross-functional team environment;

? Open-minded, creative and innovative.

? Good communication skills including written and verbal in Mandarin and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

? Understanding on Project Management methodology, Six Sigma, DOE

? Self-motivated individual with high level of technical curiosity

? Experience with testing method design and development
