As a Procurement and Logistic Manager you will be responsible for leading a team in CNILX-LVS to execute supply chain strategies that support the business operations by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products, in Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.
Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Manager, you will ensure execution in accordance with Company and Procurement & Logistics (PL) instructions and procedures.
Your responsibilities
- Leading factory PL team to deliver sourcing KPIs for CNILX including but not limited to, cost saving, cash improvement, fulfillment, supplier quality and sustainable supply chain
- Following global/regional PL guideline and procedure, and ensuring compliance in all sourcing activities, being responsible for data maintenance and process optimization
- Working closely with category team to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies in line with business priorities and category/supplier strategies, develop suppliers to meet current and future business requirements
- Being responsible for factory sourcing activities for both direct and indirect commodities & services, support operation team to improve supply chain efficiency and achieve operation excellence
- Supporting new product/component development in terms of supplier selection, cost control and project execution to achieve project target and business objectives
- Owning site unique commodities and implement sourcing strategies to develop reliable suppliers and continuously deliver quality products, competitive cost and services
- Collaborating with category, engineering and operation team to develop and implement cost out projects to improve business profitability
- Being responsible for supplier quality, managing supplier audit and qualification, continuously reduce cost of failure and improve supplier quality performance. Providing training and coaching to factory PL team, People leadership and development
Your background
- 10+ years of work experience with 5+ years of managerial experience in operations or supply chain management in multinational companies
- Experience in power transmission and distribution industry is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing operation environment, ability to manage complex projects
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategy and implement innovative solutions
- Proficiency in offices, ERP and analytics is required
- A Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or manufacturing related field
- Excellent communication skills in a matrix organization
