The Combined Materials & Purchasing Centre for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is seeking a procurement professional covering Food & Beverage purchasing activities for the group hotels based in Hong Kong. This key role will be responsible for the sourcing of products and services, purchasing processes and supply chain management.

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the successful candidate will have proven capability and skills in the purchasing and supply chain process along with the tools used to focus on quality, service delivery and competitive price associated with this category of spend.

• A minimum three years experience in high volume purchasing (hospitality or hotel food and beverage purchasing experience would be seen as an advantage)
• High level of tertiary education or professional training
• Preferably with Certificate in HACCP or related subject
• Multi lingual (both spoken and written) in English / Cantonese
• Systems / PC skills (knowledge of MBT procurement system an advantage)
• Proven negotiation skills
• Excellent communication skills both internally with operational departments and external suppliers
• Proven RFI, RFP or RFQ for information analysis  
• Independent and able to work under pressure
