• Manage purchasing team to meet target price on all requests from customers
• Work with vendors from the Americas to get the necessary price targets
• Work with freight vendors to ensure quickly delivery and lowest cost possible
• Work with sales department to process each inquiry for each customer in time and provide the lowest cost possible
• Structure, organize, and map procurement process with domestic and international vendors
• Expand the list of vendors the company has access to in the Americas and in Asia
• Develop a consolidated procurement process and vendor master that will ensure the companies prices remain competitive in the market
• Understand the needs of customers (internal/external) and be able to provide them with the freight, time, and cost solutions they need to earn their business
• Work with sourcing platforms, sourcing events, expos, and fairs to organize procurement at a global level
• Direct your procurement team to maximize profit margin on each order and lower logistics costs and logistics errors across all the companies products and vertical lines
• Make sure the companies production process, sampling process, and vendor qualification guidelines are being followed for each transaction
• Limit liabilities and risks with vendors
• Oversee, organize, and execute vendor contracts
• Follow up and execute the necessary times to complete contracts and deliver the goods on time
• Follow up with the import process and export process of all of the companies orders across the globe
• Work with management to meet required goals and timelines
• Manage a portfolio of dropship items from domestic and global vendors to feed our product portfolio and product e-commerce sales of dropship items
