Job Description

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As a, Process Lead Intern, you will assist Process Leaders supervising a medical device production operation. You will provide daily leadership by monitoring operational measures, assuring customer requirements are met, identifying basic operational problems, finding solutions to these problems and implementing them accordingly for their designated manufacturing processes.

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Process Lead Intern, are to: 

 

  • Models high standards of conduct and leadership;
  • Responsible for efficient organization of operating teams to achieve daily shift goals;
  • Tracks and analyzes safety, quality, productivity and other scorecard objective data and reacts to trends;
  • Provides leadership and development to team members in coordination with the appropriate support functions to identify and resolve safety and quality issues, to reduce waste and increase process efficiencies;
  • Ensures accuracy of quality, shift and production records and data entry;
  • Directs the efforts of team trainers to ensure team members effectively perform job duties;
  • Participate in the execution of team improvement plans to achieve higher levels of operational excellence and performance;
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with team members, other Process Leads, Production Supervisors, Production Manager, Production Planners and Quality, Engineering and Maintenance support personnel;
  • Maintains all training records for team members labs.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in an engineering function;
  • Classes or hands on experience in manufacturing or quality control
  • Demonstrated sound judgment, continuous improvement, and customer focus;
  • Demonstrated adaptability and teamwork skills;
  • advanced problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills: effectively conveys problems,

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Leadership role in technical or managerial focused club or activity
