Specific requirements (5) - The position will play a very critical role in the whole Financial Shared Service Center (“FSSC”) Program lifecycle management. He / she is expected to take a leadership role in planning, defining, analysing, executing and monitoring various key transformation initiatives (including FSSC migration and operations) in respective financial functional areas throughout the FSSC Program lifecycle.
Due to the priority, size and complexity of the APAC Division, the FSSC Program will first focus on Greater China before considering other Regions.
Manage the FSSC Program lifecycle with specifically focus on Accounts Payable and its integration with end-to-end Purchase to Pay & Expenditure Cycles
Assessment and Plan
? Conduct substantial assessment and baseline analysis for in-scope entities include processes and procedures, data/transactions governance and ERP utilisation in respective financial functional areas
? Develop financial process and transactional data governance KPI matrix, set both short-term and long-term improvement measurable targets.
? Conduct benchmarking analysis, define improvement solutions and develop prioritisation matrix. Synergise with cross-functional and integrated team (e.g., other finance functional team, supply chain, operations and etc.) to drive action plan at local entity level
? Key team member of on-going and future ERP implementation projects to ensure financial process governance and objectives are embedded in ERP for local entities
? Work with cross-functional team, incorporate various lean (“seamless flow”) applications from process integration aspects (supplier e-platform & portal, inventory barcoding tool) in FSSC and ERP financial template
? Support the development of FSSC business case model, include pilot sites selection for new process migration, operating model, migration roadmap and strategies by focusing first on Greater China entities
Migration:
? Develop migration execution plan for specific financial function and align with all FSSC objectives, operating model, change management strategies and financial governance framework
? Define clearly the key dependencies of the execution plan, manage key migration risks from various aspects to ensure migration targeted timeline is successfully achieved
? Institute change management initiatives and manage key stakeholders during migration to lay down solid foundation for sustainable FSSC operation model in next Phase
Operation
? Support the development of FSSC performance measurement, operating policies and service framework
? Continuously develop personal capabilities and take lead of FSSC functional areas. Develop and coach FSSC financial functional team
? Ensure service offerings are meeting both financial governance and service framework objectives
Continuous Improvement and Development
? Take initiative to strengthen FSSC team competency and diversity (e.g., functional knowledge transfer or job rotation within peer group)
? Continuously stabilise FSSC operating model and support the model roll out to other APAC Regions in future
? Evolve FSSC service offerings and innovate value-added offerings to support business performance improvement (e.g., productivity improvement, cost reduction and etc.)
