Job Purpose: We have an opening for a highly skilled Senior Consultant and Engagement Lead to join our expanding team of consultants at the forefront of digital transformation for our clients. OMNI Digital Services (ODS) is the consulting team of BNY Mellon, who’s role it is to understand, advise, design, deliver and support our client’s transformational Digital and Data projects across the EMEA region. You will be working on a team of experienced consultants covering Data Management, Performance Measurement and Fund Accounting. Our role as trusted partners means that our teams see engagements across a spectrum of client needs, from Strategy and Design, Data Governance and Operating Model development, through to Solution Design and Implementation of our Award Winning Data and Analytics products. Responsibilities: Your background may include work in a Consulting Firm, an Asset Servicer or a Commercial/Investment Bank. Your experience may include any combination change management or program management, product/service delivery, advisory or business analysis roles. Subject matter expertise should span financial products and services (especially in the asset management world), data management or data governance, fund accounting or other asset management or asset serving operations roles You should enjoy working directly with clients, taking a hands on role to effect change and working in an innovation culture, where a quick work pace and learning are par for the course. There are a variety of backgrounds that may fit but this search is about finding the right person, not the right CV. Specific skills and experiences may include: • Professional experience in data strategy, data operations and data governance, including exposure and experience in data program in the asset management / servicing industry OR experience in a major consulting firm within the data practice • A background leading data governance and data management practices including experience with asset management data structures and data challenges such as, development and design specialization with Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Literacy, Metadata and Business Intelligence solutions • Experience creating and executing effective change management, leading others through transformational change, especially in asset management business management processes • Proven experience supporting internal and external initiatives through execution and day-to-day management of a client-focused team, ability to build strong and lasting relationships with clients as well as drive business development activities to secure new business • Outstanding presentation and communication skills and the experience and proclivity to be an outstanding spokesperson, relationship builder and to articulate industry data trends as a thought leader/forward thinker • Experience of Conducting Voice of Customer interviews at the c-suite through operational leaders to gain a better understanding of our client’s strategy, challenges and priorities • Facilitating internal and external workshops (preferably leveraging Design Thinking) to collaboratively design operating, data and/or technology models • Delivering operations and technology benchmarks to enable the evaluation of improvements to be gained through automation or process change helping clients to quantify the opportunity and impact of their investments • Building thought leadership content for BNY Mellon, including clients where appropriate, elevating BNY Mellon’s position in the industry as a strategic thought leader • Engaging in strategic client engagements that we create in support of a defined objective, such as co-creating solutions with the client • Standing up cross-functional teams to support better client engagement What we can offer you: • Challenging, fun and supportive environment • 25 days holiday (in addition to Bank Holidays) plus opportunity to purchase up to 5 extra days • Highly competitive benefits package including pension and private medical cover Qualifications .
