BNY Mellon's Data and Analytics Solutions (DAS) further extend Asset Servicing capabilities in securities and cash into the world's most important "asset class," data. As a software and content business, inclusive of Eagle Investment Systems' data management, accounting, and performance platform and Intermediary Analytics' sales and distribution data, the offering also includes a suite of new cloud-based products.
We are looking for a Product Manager with deep Financial Services background, ideally in derivatives and/or private equity, acquired through either financial technology vendors, consulting assignments, or hands-on experience in a market-leading firm.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with clients, both internal and external, to deliver product solutions to complex security modeling questions.
- Follow market trends and understand the impact on DAS products.
- Identify solutions using current functionality that allow clients to continue daily operations until product changes are delivered.
- Write business requirements for product enhancements.
- Interface with product owners and engineers throughout the development process to ensure full delivery of requirements.
- Become a subject matter expert across the DAS software suite.
- Engage in knowledge sharing and thought leadership with best practices documents, blog posts, and articles.

- Have strong written and verbal communication skills, including demos, presentations, and training sessions.
- Enjoy the technical side of product management and can help guide development teams when evaluating different solutions.
The Experience You Will Bring
- 5-10 years of relevant total work experience at either a financial technology or financial services firm.
- A proven track record of delivering client outcomes through the introduction of innovative solutions.
- A history of building products to support derivatives and alternative asset classes such as private equity, real estate, venture capital, or infrastructure.
- A global mindset and comfort working across a diverse set of environments.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in business or technology, or equivalent work experience required. Advanced degree preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required 10-12 years of related experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
