Diameter specialist will be in charge of supporting and implementing the solutions designed for our customers in Latin America related to signaling platforms such as DSR, and PCRF.
An experienced consulting professional who has an understanding of solutions, industry best practices, business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May act as the team lead on projects. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities.
5-7 years of overall experience relevant to this position including 2 years of consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Knowledge/experience with the Oracle Communications platforms: Diameter Signaling Router (OC-DSR), Policy and Charging Rule Function (OC-PCRF), Subscriber Database Server (OC-SDS), Linux, Oracle database knowledge, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) will be a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients both in English and Spanish language. Ability to travel as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and lead detailed network solutions of 3G/4G/5G Signaling Core elements such as DSR and PCRF.
- Technical solution analysis, architecture, and routing design
- Migration and Database Conversion planning
- Performance/Optimization Tuning
- Integration/Interoperability Testing
- Performance monitoring, integration, upgrade, and troubleshooting
- Prepare and Manage Technical presentations to the Customer to discuss solution architecture, call flows, definitions, and hands-on service demonstration.
- Service delivery activities include on-site and remote implementation of new systems, technical discussions, and explanations of proposed solutions with customers, development of methods of procedure, and other documentation as required by the customer.

Qualifications
- The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the Telecom Market.
- Strong Knowledge of 3G/4G networks architecture.
- Strong Knowledge about Telco Signaling Protocols (Diameter RFC 3588, HTTP/2)
- Knowledge of IP networking (LAN/WAN, routing)
- Understand standardization bodies (IETF, 3GPP, etc.).
- Knowledge about Linux/Unix operating systems and bash scripting.
- Knowledge of NFV and Cloud environments.
