Your new role

The Principal Business Technical Analyst will operate within the Engineering Oracle Data Cloud group in Tel  Aviv, and will help the Engineering and Product team to gather business insights on the group products.

In this role you will implement and apply bespoke and cutting-edge Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics tools, bringing significant technical and product insights to Oracle Data Cloud teams, helping them to have a clear and robust visibility on the Oracle Data Cloud DMP line of business. You will be working on challenging & exciting projects, utilizing the latest big-data and BI technologies.

Reporting to DMP Technical Product Owner, the role will be working independent learning, working closely with our engineer and tech leads in Israel and global site on reporting and data related projects to ensure they achieve the required internal and external outcomes.

Of particular interest will be individuals who can demonstrate not only a proven track record in the technical delivery of the above but also demonstrate the associated business transformation of clients\: people and processes.

 

Technical & Delivery Expertise

It is essential that you have both excellent analytical & engineering skills with experience of working on complex data projects through the full project lifecycle.

  • We are looking to hire ambitious Business Technical Analyst who combine their technical acumen with a genuine enthusiasm for improving organizations
  • BA/BSc/MSc in a quantitative field or equivalent Analyst experience
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Understanding of Cloud Architecture 
  • Able to model and transform data, build or design ETL solutions and present data in a useful business context
  • Vast experience with SQL and/or other Query languages 
  • Proven experience using data visualization tools such as OBIEE, Kibana, Grafana, Splunk, Tableau, Looker.
  • Proven experience of Big Data and Data Science related technologies, such as R, Hadoop or Python, to design and implement predictive analytics models
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, dedicated and creative with abilities to take "out of the box" initiatives
  • Be an excellent communicator and have to ability to work independently and engage with offshore teams

 

You will be responsible for\:

  • Design, develop and deliver bespoke Business Intelligence & Predictive Analytics pipelines.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to collect BI requirements and transform it to predictive analytics, data science, business intelligence & big data solutions
  • Cooperate and work closely with similar positions in different Oracle sites across the globe
  • Design and develop effective reports and dashboards to present information in a clear and informative manner
  • Utilize specialist knowledge of advanced analytics techniques to deliver analytics solutions to improve our businesses
  • Capture our products requirements and model data to develop an effective intelligence solution architecture
!|!Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 8 plus years relevant work experience.
