Salary : $46,655 per month ( Contract Period : Contract starts around in September 2020 for not exceeding one year)

Duties : (a) To provide professional support through school development visits and district networking on student guidance and discipline work; (b) To provide school-based programmes and specific tasks to ensure the student guidance and discipline services meet the developmental, preventive and remedial needs of primary and secondary students; (c) To support and monitor guidance projects and student activities; (d) To organize thematic seminars for school personnel; and (e) To supervise guidance and discipline personnel and monitor their work.

Entry Requirements : (a) A Hong Kong bachelor’s degree majoring in Psychology or Social Work, or equivalent; (b) A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent; (c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (See Note) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and (d) Four years’ relevant post-degree experience.

Note : For appointment purpose, ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
